James Burke Connects the Future: The Future Is NOW!
The video below is an example of compelling content. The visual is pretty standard, as I was working corporate at the time it was shot. However, the information it contains is one of the clearest looks at the near term future from one of the most profound thinkers of the modern era: James Burke of "Connections" and "The Day the Universe Changed." It turns out I had some influence in getting him to leave the comforts of southern France and travel halfway around the world to speak to a bunch of state and local government wonks and techno-geeks. They could follow him until he began to trample within their comfort zone. So be forewarned, this is not for the feint of mind...
